Unspoken Maid: Chapter OneSummary
She always has been the silent one, fading into the background, careless as a stray.  But her heart begins to pain, for on a summer's night her heart is pierced by cupid.   She leaved her sisters frowning, at the disappointing scene to see. 'Cause she's fallen with a man, her beloved sailor bold you might say...  She dismounts her powers, even her precious voice, which few have yet the here. Forever silent she shall be, but this story shall never be quite, for what she has done screams louder than anything, including the sounds of pain and fear. Her Real WorldShe sat on the old, rough concrete slab bench eating her sandwich as she does every lunchtime, not depressive but not content or eager to open herself up to anybody.
She sat, hunched over creepily with a cold, vacant and empty look on her face.

She whispers to herself, under her breath without emotion:

Who is to say anything is real? who is to say that what you all touch, taste, smell and see is not just a delusion of the human mind. Why is it that somebody with a different foothold of it all must be treated as a "defective", I've always hated being called that. It's either that or "Gloomygirl" as i get at school. i never bother them.

The Path of Light: Chapter I'What do ye want?' said the gruff man holding the gun.
He was an older man, and looked a bit like a local butcher. Big, a bit fat, sort of muscular, short brown hair and a really short beard. Or maybe he looked more like a lumberjack? If I were to imagine him carrying an axe, it would really suit him. I couldn't blame him for pointing a gun at me, as I must've looked like a beggar.
'Well?! What do ye want? Who are ye?'
Who am I...? I should've known that question had to come at some point! What do I do now?
Pressured by the man, who wrapped his finger tighter around the trigger, I quickly answered.

Slowly I opened my eyes.
‘Where... am I?’
I looked around and noticed I was surrounded by many trees. They moved quietly in the wind.
‘Who am I?’
I found my hand covered in a puddle of black sticky sludge. I quickly withdrew my hand and tried to get rid of the nasty substance, as I rolled around struggling to clean my hand I felt a stinging pain in my back. I checked what it was and found myself lying on a broken sword, which too was covered in the same black stuff as my hand.
‘What is all this?’

The Path of Light: Chapter V'Hurry! You cannot stay here any longer!'
What was that? Who's talking to me? I turned around and saw a man in dark brown leather armour. He had long silver hair flowing down a magnificent mantle, coloured like the leaves of a big old tree. A large wooden bow was strapped to his back, along with a quiver, inlaid with silver. A decent amount of arrows with white coloured fletchings protruded from the top.
'You look confused, must be one of the effects from that spell!' he said as he grabbed me by my shoulders. 'Look at me! I am Ishra, your friend! We're gonna get you out of here but I can't have you failing on me now!'

The Path of Light: Chapter IV'Murdered?' Eris asked with big eyes. 'How's that even possible?'
Grunk shrugged. 'Well...'  he started, 'he was only human after all. We all die at some point I suppose.'
Eris violently grabbed Grunk by his arms and shook him back and forth. Her eyes were burning with anger. 'That is not what I meant!' she yelled furiously. 'I mean how is it possible that the king, the most important human alive, gets assassinated when you, the world's so-called best warrior, is supposed to be taking care of the city's defences?'
Grunk managed to free himself from Eris' grip and pushed her away.

The Path of Light: Chapter IIIThe leaves on the bush moved wildly. A violent sound of snapping twigs got louder and closer quickly. The air was filled with a dark tension. I backed away from the shrub. What horrific beast would reveal itself in the next couple of minutes? Eris grabbed her spear and it would probably be for the best if I'd get my gear ready as well.
The bush stopped moving. Eris approached it carefully and slowly pushed aside some of the branches with her weapon. She jumped and dropped her spear as a boar came running out of the shadows. The boar was very big for its kind, about five feet. Pitch-black stiff bristles covered its body while a path of soft, The Path of Light: Chapter III by ~ElveTheInsane
